A glossary of terms relevant to the Deriverse Protocol.
Protocol - The Deriverse Protocol.
Token - The native SOL token or any SPL token registered on the Solana network.
Asset Token - The token that is being traded or exchanged for another token, usually the Base Currency Token, e.g. SOL in the SOL/USDC instrument.
Base Currency Token - The token in which the price of any Asset Token is quoted, e.g. USDC in the SOL/USDC instrument.
Base Currency Tokens List - The list of tokens that can be used as a Base Currency Token.
Instrument - A pair of an Asset Token and a Base Currency Token, e.g. SOL/USDC is referred to as an Instrument.
Instrument Spot Pool - A pool of liquidity consisting from Asset Token & Base Currency Token for the purpose of spot trading via an AMM.
Instrument Spot Pool Internal Token - LP tokens available to be purchased in each Instrument Spot Pool.
Perpetual Instrument Options Pool - Pool for trading options via the AMM mechanism.
Perpetual Instrument Options Pool Token - Perpetual Instrument Options Pool tokens.
Client - Any user interacting with the Protocol.
Fees - A commission-based fee paid by the Client for trading on the Protocol.
