Creating a new token

Deriverse allows token creators to initialize and deploy a new SPL token market directly on the platform, enabling liquidity raising and project listing without gatekeeping.

Steps to create a new token:

1. Connect a Solana wallet with sufficient SOL or USDC for fees.

2. Access the “Create New Market” wizard in the Launchpad.

3. Enter token details, including:

   1. Token name

   2. Symbol

   3. Total supply

   4. Decimals

   5. Initial price

   6. Logo

   7. Description

   8. Tags

4. Review a final confirmation screen summarizing tokenomics and any required fees.

5. Confirm and sign the transaction.

6. Upon successful deployment, the new token market is created on Solana, and the token address is displayed.

Launchpad Dashboard (Instrument Explorer)

The Launchpad dashboard provides an overview of new and emerging projects, allowing users to discover and participate in early-stage token ownership.

Features:

• Project Listings: View a grid or list of tokens with relevant details, including:

  • Token logo and name

  • Trading volume

  • Price performance

  • Project Details: Click on any token to access in-depth information, such as:

    • Tokenomics

    • Price charts

• Trading & Liquidity: Users can opt to trade or provide liquidity directly from the project page.

The Launchpad serves as a discovery hub for both token creators and investors, ensuring a seamless experience for launching and engaging with new markets.
